Renowned lawyer Kujtim Cakrani spoke today on the show “Breaking” regarding the escort scandal that is rumored to be taking place in the country’s prisons.
According to the lawyer, special meetings of a sexual nature do not mean that they are all related to prostitution cases. According to him, there are cases when a convict meets with his wife and this is normal to happen.
“It happened that some time ago, an important character in the criminal world met with his girlfriend, who is thought to be starting a family tomorrow, in the Korça detention center. Everyone said that x models from Kosovo had gone and so on, no, this is not the truth.
I have also contacted the character and other people and they have told me that it is a normal meeting of a man who is going to get married and start a family despite being in prison. No one can stop this, it is his right. We must separate when it comes to these meetings and when it comes to prostitution. We must take the situation case by case. Do you know that there are girls who simply see these people in court, or in various news reports and fall in love with them? We have also seen them in movies. There are cases when convicts have even married prison officers. There are cases when they have even had sexual relations with prison psychologists, educators… Now this is completely normal because feelings are hell to eat. Events must be seen case by case. We cannot accept that all those girls who enter prisons for special meetings are prostitutes. We cannot get to the bottom of this story,” he said.
