Analyst Lorenc Vangjeli stated on the “Trialog” show that the protest on the boulevard is a political act, while the majority has not reacted so far, except for the positions of Prime Minister Edi Rama.
He added that a contrary stance of the majority was the removal of MP Marjana Koçeku from the SP parliamentary group.
“In fact, the protest itself is a political act. At the moment, the only concrete political response that has come from the majority camp, excluding the positions of the prime minister or a very few deputies or well-known people in the Socialist Party, has been no other act than the resignation of a Socialist Party deputy,” said Vangjeli.
He requested a response from the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, Blendi Klosi, regarding Koçek’s act.
“A year after taking office, she left, distancing herself from the party, and I would be very interested in asking the position of the Secretary General of the Socialist Party, in addition to the few voices that have not yet formulated an official position, about Marjana Koçeku, the so-called neo-Malësorja,” said Vangjeli.
For his part, Mr. Klosi responded that “there is a public stance with us, with the public, that she is resigning.”
Now, I know Marjana, in the last electoral field, there were a lot of influxes, a large part of the SP group is in the Assembly for the first time and if you judge it from the point of view of characteristics, it represents an area that we really need to get that vote.
“There are boys and girls in Parliament, who speak in Parliament, and give voice to Parliament. This openness to young people also has consequences.”
