In many cases, we have heard of crimes that follow a breakup or rejection.
In most cases, men are the ones who cannot accept the end of a relationship and thus end up shooting a gun or committing other macabre acts.
Such, unfortunately, is the story of a girl and 35-year-old Ferit Buzi (also known as Nertili), both from the village of Vidhisht in Roskovec.
They got engaged some time ago. As the girl’s relatives have said, they lived together in Tirana for a period of time, as the 24-year-old was studying Nursing.
However, for reasons that are still not fully clear, the young woman decides to end the relationship. It was enough for her to be constantly threatened with a gun by her ex-partner, so much so that she was forced to leave the university and return to her native village.
But there would be no peace for him there either…
Nertil, as the girl’s relatives say, has been arrested and released several times. Most recently, he was even under house arrest.
“You can’t do it without me,” he is said to have often told the 24-year-old. So, at around 6:00 this morning, he went to her house and shot and killed her father, 58-year-old Kosta Plaka, and wounded her mother, who is currently in the hospital.
The screams were heard by family members who lived nearby, but no one dared to go inside because the 35-year-old threatened to “kill everyone.”
He took his ex-fiancée and left in the vehicle parked behind the house, not forgetting the shotgun.
After several hours of searching, the police located her and the young woman escaped kidnapping.
Buzi immediately ended his life.
The event in Roskovec proves once again that tragedy is preceded by psychological pressure, control, and fear, which remain unaddressed in time.
