A serious incident has shaken Peja, where a 34-year-old man was found without signs of life on “Zhul Selmani” street.
The victim has been identified as Arjanit Çetaj, and according to information, he is the son of the famous rhapsodist Hasan Çetaj.
Immediately after the incident was reported, relevant Kosovo Police units, investigators and a medical team arrived at the scene. After initial examinations, doctors confirmed the death of the 34-year-old man.
The police have surrounded the area and begun examining the scene, while in coordination with the competent Prosecutor’s Office, the first investigative actions have been taken to clarify the circumstances in which the death occurred.
So far, authorities have not announced the cause of death or whether any criminal offense is suspected. The body is expected to undergo the prescribed legal procedures, including forensic examinations, which are expected to shed more light on the case.
The news of Arjan Çetaj’s death has saddened his family, friends and acquaintances, while the event has also caused reactions in the city of Peja, where the Çetaj family is widely known through the artistic activity of the rhapsodist Hasan Çetaj.
Kosovo Police have announced that investigations are ongoing and additional information is expected to be released after the initial actions at the scene are completed.
