In a live broadcast on the noon news edition on Top Channel, weather forecaster Elvi Jahaj predicted a change in weather conditions in the coming days, with cooler and relatively humid air masses.
According to him, precipitation will be present in some areas, while temperatures are expected to drop, especially at the beginning of next week.
“A gradual penetration of relatively humid and cooler air masses is expected. Today’s weather is expected to be clear and alternating with moderate and occasionally dense cloudiness, mainly in the center and south.”
Low-intensity rainfall is expected in the hilly and mountainous areas of Gjirokastër, Berat and Korçë. In Korçë, there may be occasional heavier rainfall, up to the form of thunderstorms. Electrical charges and hail are also expected. In the Tirana and Elbasan regions, rainfall will be occasional, but with low intensity.
Even at the weekend, the country will be characterized by cooler and relatively humid air conditions. But the weather is expected to be clear. Cloudiness and rain are expected in the southern highlands during the weekend.
Clear weather is expected for the beginning of next week, while on Tuesday fresh and humid air masses are expected to move in. On Tuesday at noon, occasional low-intensity rain is expected and will cover the entire territory.
“Temperatures will drop, reaching 35-36 degrees Celsius. Minimum values will also drop. The wind will be light, but at times it may have an average speed of 10-12 kilometers per second,” said Jahaj.
