New details have emerged from the arrest of Ergys Agas, who was declared wanted by SPAK within the framework of the AKSHI file.
Journalist Klodiana Lala reports that along with Agas, Ulian Shpataraku, a former police officer, was also arrested.
According to Lala, Agasi and Shpataraku were initially located in Elbasan, where they were together in a vehicle. They then traveled to Durrës, where they were caught by police in the Plepave area.
According to the report, Shpataraku is suspected of supporting the perpetrator of the crime, in this case Ergys Agasit.
Shpataraku, according to journalist Lala, was a confidant of the former director of the State Police, Ilir Proda, and is suspected of having had considerable influence within the structures of the State Police.
During the operation, several personal items were also seized, including bags, but it is not yet known what they contained.
The operation continues and an official statement from the Police is expected in the coming hours, which is expected to provide more details on the arrests and charges against the two people.
