Edi Rama and Sali Berisha “together” in Rinas, did they both meet at the airport?! Salianji raises doubts about the secret agreement at the “VIP” hall (REACTION)

Former Democratic Party MP and one of Sali Berisha’s critics, Ervin Salianji, has reacted through a post on social media, raising doubts about a possible meeting between the opposition leader and Prime Minister Edi Rama at the “Mother Teresa” airport in Rinas.

According to Salianj, the possible meeting between the two politicians may have taken place in the airport’s VIP areas, at a time when Rama was expected to return from New York, where he was attending the UN General Assembly.

Shortly before the Prime Minister’s arrival in Rinas, Sali Berisha was at the airport, heading to Strasbourg to participate in the proceedings of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe.

Referring to the presence of both of them at the same time in the VIP section of the airport, Salianji demanded transparency from Berisha and raised questions about what may have been discussed between them. He asks whether a conversation took place between the two politicians and whether during it the political situation in the country was discussed, including Rama’s stance in the face of demands for resignation.

“But today there is also a question that requires a clear answer: Sali Berisha has the political and moral obligation to make public what was discussed with Edi Rama at the airport. What was discussed? Did Edi Rama withdraw from resigning after this conversation? Were mutual guarantees for each other’s inviolability discussed? Was there any agreement to hold Albania hostage to an old political scheme? These are questions that citizens have the right to ask and that require transparency after it was made the second time that “coincidentally” Rama and Berisha were found at the VIP section of the airport at the same time,” writes Salianji, among other things.

While we emphasize that until this moment, these remain allegations and questions raised publicly by Ervin Salianji, while there is no official confirmation of a meeting between Rama and Berisha in the airport’s VIP areas.

Full post:

Edi Rama must leave with the force of united citizens, in the squares and on the streets. Every hour more in power is one more hour of service to state capture, organized crime groups and the destruction of institutions.

Rama does not know the rules of democracy. Therefore, citizens must make it clear to him that power is not personal property and Albania is not anyone’s hostage.

But today there is also a question that requires a clear answer:

Sali Berisha has a political and moral obligation to make public what was discussed with Edi Rama at the airport.

What was discussed?

Did Edi Rama withdraw his resignation after this conversation?

Were mutual guarantees of each other’s inviolability discussed?

Was there any agreement to hold Albania hostage to an old political scheme?

These are questions that citizens have the right to ask and that demand transparency after it was reported for the second time that Rama and Berisha were “coincidentally” in the VIP section of the airport at the same time.

Albania cannot be held hostage by secret agreements, political bargains or personal guarantees.
