In a fight between Albanian and Algerian prisoners at Domokos prison, in the Phthiotis prefecture, in central Greece, 6 people were injured, one of them seriously.
According to local media reports, a fight broke out yesterday afternoon between Albanian and Algerian prisoners in Domokos prison, for reasons that are still unknown.
The six injured people, aged between 26 and 41, were taken to the Domokos Health Center. Later, 4 of them were transferred to Lamia Hospital, in the center of the prefecture.
One of the prisoners, who had suffered serious head injuries, underwent immediate surgery. His health condition remains serious, while another prisoner, wounded with an improvised knife, has passed the danger to his life after medical intervention. In the same prison, during the last month and a half, a similar incident has been recorded for the third time. In the fight that occurred about 15 days ago, 5 people were injured.
