72-year-old woman disappears without a trace in Vlora, girl from Belgium appeals: Help us find her (PHOTO)

This afternoon, the show “Pa Gjurmë” with journalist Odeta Dume on Report TV dealt with the case of the disappearance of 72-year-old Dallandyshe Hamzaj from Vlora. Family members have raised the alarm since July 8, 2026, the day the elderly woman left her apartment. There has been no trace of her for nearly three months. In a direct connection from Belgium, her daughter, Etleva Hamzai, asked for citizens’ help in finding her mother.

According to the girl’s testimony, the 72-year-old had long suffered from sclerosis and recently her condition had worsened.

“I was there during the summer and stayed with my mother for two weeks. She had been treated for sclerosis for a long time. We were careful not to leave her alone, but recently it had gotten worse. She was no longer able to take care of herself like before,” the daughter said.

The family suspects that on the day of her disappearance, Dallandyshe Hamzaj may have gotten lost on the road or had a moment of disorientation. According to Etleva, the elderly woman had expressed her desire to go to the village of Armen, the place where she was born. But verifications so far have not confirmed that she has arrived there. “Many neighbors who met her that day told us that mom was looking for vans to go to Armen. It is the place where she was born. We have done research, but she has not arrived in the village. We are all looking for her. We call on anyone who has seen our mother or has information about her to contact us,” Etleva Hamzai said during the show.

At the end of the live connection, the girl broke down in tears as she sent a message to her mother: I miss you so much. I just want you to come home.

The case of 72-year-old Dallandyshe Hamzaj remains open, while the family appeals for any information that may help in finding her.
