A young man was rescued yesterday evening from the Devoll River in Gramsh, after he became trapped in the middle of the stream while trying to cross from the village of Menkollar towards Kodovjat. The incident occurred around midnight, while the rapid intervention of the fire service made it possible to extract him safely from the river.

Yesterday evening, around midnight, the Gramsh Fire Service undertook a rapid rescue operation to remove from danger a young man with the initials E.Ç., who was stranded in the middle of the Devoll River.
The young man was attempting to cross the river from the village of Menkollar (Skënderbegës Administrative Unit) towards the village of Kodovjat (Kodovjat Administrative Unit), when he was overwhelmed by the current and became stuck in the middle of the water.
Thanks to the professional intervention and immediate response of the fire service personnel, it was possible to extract him safely from the river.
