An absurd debate about history and peoples almost ended in tragedy in the Kirchlinde district of Dortmund. A 42-year-old Albanian was arrested in Switzerland and extradited to Germany last Monday, accused of seriously injuring a man after a fight in a bar.
The incident took place on November 5, 2025, but the case remained unsolved for months, prompting German authorities to set up a special team to investigate the murders. According to the details made public, shortly after 11:00 p.m. on the night of the incident, the suspect entered a pub in Kirchlinde, where the victim arrived shortly after. The two sat next to each other at the bar, drinking beer.
