Doctors and nurses who want to buy a home will have the opportunity to apply for a 0% interest loan, within the framework of the support program of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. The Ministry has announced a call for 70 0% interest loans, while applications will open on August 27, 2026 and will close on September 25, 2026.
The program aims to support healthcare professionals in purchasing their own apartment, while applications will be made online through the e-Albania portal. According to the established criteria, beneficiaries must be employed in the public administration, as defined in the law “On social housing”.
Also, applicants must not own a home or be in the process of legalizing it. Those who own a home, but it is below the housing standards set by the legislation in force, are also eligible to apply. Another criterion is that the applicant must not own real estate or movable property worth more than half the value of the home to be purchased with the facilitated loan.
Also, persons who are beneficiaries of other social housing programs cannot benefit. The Ministry invites all doctors and nurses who meet the criteria to apply within the deadline, starting from August 27 to September 25, through the e-Albania portal.
