Tirana Police have criminally prosecuted 11 citizens, including Dritan Goxhaj, on suspicion of actions during the protests held on June 22 and 23 in the capital. One of the persons prosecuted is Dritan Goxhaj.
Police announcement:
Following the investigative and procedural actions carried out by the structures of Police Commissariat No. 3, in relation to the gatherings held on June 22 and 23, 2026, in Tirana, 11 citizens, suspected of being involved in actions that violate public order and peace, have been identified and criminally prosecuted.

Specifically, the following citizens were prosecuted at large, for the criminal offense of “Obstructing the movement of means of transport”, DG, 50 years old, ID, 55 years old, EE, 32 years old, EB, 29 years old, VD, 30 years old, EZ, 26 years old, Xh. P., 27 years old, BK, 36 years old, DB, 32 years old, Sh. B., 34 years old and IM, 28 years old.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these citizens have oriented and held the rally in areas different from those officially announced, specifically at: the intersection of “Urani Pano” street with “Zogu I” boulevard; the intersection of “Ibrahim Rugova” street with Kavaja Street; as well as at the intersection of “Ibrahim Rugova” street with “Gjergj Fishta” boulevard.
As a result, on these axes with high traffic flow of vehicles and citizens, the free movement of vehicles and citizens has been impeded. The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office for further action.
