Invited to the show “Albania Live”, investigative journalist Artan Hoxha once again focused on the much-discussed issue of the disappearance of Ervis Martinaj, making strong statements regarding the investigations.
According to Hoxha, both the suspected perpetrator of the execution and the amount paid for Martinaj’s elimination are now known.
“Today we know who the executioner is. We also know the amount that was set for the murder. If we say that the person who committed the murder received 500 thousand euros, does he think that we don’t know who he is?” declared the journalist.
He added that Ervis Martinaj was a public figure who did not hide, leading an active life in nightlife settings and in the company of well-known figures from the screen, politics and media.
According to Hoxha, Martinaj’s biggest mistake was that he failed to control the power and influence he had created over the years.
“The mistake Ervis Martinaj made was that he could not control the power he wielded,” he said.
In the end, the journalist demanded more transparency from the authorities, calling on the State Police to provide minimal information to family members and public opinion.
“The State Police must say, without disrupting the investigations, that from the information they have, Ervis Martinaj is not alive. His father comes and asks about the fate of his son,” Hoxha declared.
