Ferit Hoxha did it again. The Foreign Minister, already known for his embarrassing deviations in statements, committed a protocol violation when he sat for a few moments in Prime Minister Edi Rama’s chair in the Parliament hall, while talking to Deputy Prime Minister Albana Koçiu.
But even chairs have a hierarchy. An employee of the Assembly Administration asked Hoxha to get up, as Rama’s seat is not available and cannot be used by anyone else, even for a short conversation between colleagues.
After the “institutional incident”, Hoxha moved a few meters further along with Koçi to continue the conversation that had been left unfinished.
In the end, everything went smoothly. With just one more minor blunder in the minister’s ever-expanding collection.
