Tragic was the fate of a 7-year-old boy yesterday in the village of Mengël, as a result of an accident, while the famous director Petri Bozo, who was driving the vehicle that hit the little boy, fell behind bars.
The incident occurred on the “Elbasan-Librazhd” axis, where a 7-year-old child lost his life, near the 9-year-old “Sulejman Rranci” school, which is located on the national road.
According to police sources, after the incident, Bozo stated that he was not speeding, however, authorities suspect that the vehicle may have been over the speed limit. Investigations to fully clarify the circumstances are still ongoing.
According to preliminary information, the minor had accompanied his sister to school with his mother, while he himself attended afternoon classes at the same educational institution.
Witnesses at the scene said that after dropping their daughter off at school, the mother and son were walking towards a nearby store. At that moment, it is suspected that the child was separated from his mother’s hand and was hit by the vehicle driven by Petri Bozo. Meanwhile, a short while ago, during an interview with Top News, the director also spoke about his experiences driving, indicating that he had been involved in more than 20 road accidents in his life, although he emphasized that only once had he really felt in danger for his life.
