March on the streets of Tirana, protesters at the Ministry of Infrastructure demand handcuffs: Arrest Balluk!

The citizens’ march continues through the main axes of the capital.

After leaving the Prime Minister’s Office building, chanting “Rama out!” and “Down with the dictatorship!”, the large crowd of protesters stopped in front of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.

At this point in the march, the revolt is all focused on the head of this department, who is also a former deputy prime minister.

Protesters have erupted in unison in a chorus of loud chants, demanding her arrest in connection with the hot corruption files and recent investigations:

Calls for the legal accountability of the former number two in the government, who has been targeted by accusations and investigations by SPAK for abuses with infrastructure projects and multi-million dollar affairs, have been leveled at the ministry.
