Koçeku-Braçe clash over properties, strong accusation: “Three generations without documents, no one solved the problem”

Independent MP Marjana Koçeku has reacted with irony to the statements of Socialist MP Erion Braçe, who had previously raised questions about whether “Neomalsore Agroturizëm”, associated with Koçeku, had a certificate of ownership for the land where it operates.

In a reaction on social media, Koçeku stated that her family has been living in that area for three generations without property documents.

She further ironically asked the MP whether the lack of will of her parents and the residents of those areas or of the state itself to resolve the ownership issues is responsible for this situation.

“No, Mr. Braçe, I don’t have the papers. My mother came there as a girl, became a mother and became a grandmother. There are three generations there and zero documents. From Ramiz Alia, to Shaban Tapia and today to Erjon Llafia.

“So, tell me: did my parents and the residents of those areas lack the will, or did the state lack the will? Explain it to me, who has been in the legislature for almost as long as I have been alive,” Koçek said.
