Protest of Albanian students in North Macedonia, Vjosa Osmani and the minister of Montenegro come out in their support

On May 18, Albanian students in North Macedonia will once again protest to demand their legitimate right to have the bar exam held in Albanian.

Vjosa Osmani from Vitia said that Kosovo will always be in their support.

“Albanian students in North Macedonia will soon organize another protest to protect the Albanian language, their right to education. From Vitia, let me give them our full support, we will be with them until the end, to protect their rights that they have won in international processes. We as Kosovo should not interfere in party issues in the RMV, but we will never allow their rights to be violated,” said Vjosa Osmani.

The Minister of Public Administration in Montenegro, Marash Dukaj, has also come out in support of the next student protest.

“Albanian students in North Macedonia are not asking for privileges, but a fundamental right: to learn and be assessed in their native language.

This right is guaranteed by domestic laws and international standards, because language is the foundation of national identity and dignity. Democratic societies are measured by the respect they show for the rights of communities and the equal application of the law.

“Full support for students who are asking for what is theirs with dignity. It is time for implementation, not for excuses,” he said.
