Prime Minister Edi Rama has changed his personal profile on social media, setting flamingos as his profile picture and cover image, at a time when what has been called the “Flamingo Revolution” has been going on in the country for 25 days.
The Prime Minister’s symbolic move comes following a heated public and political debate on projects in protected areas, particularly in the Nartë-Vjosa area, as well as following the European Parliament’s recent resolution on environmental issues in Albania.
