“The most public is the case of the confiscation of an apartment found during the investigation of former prosecutor Adriatik Llalla, property that was considered unjustified, coming from illegal activity. For this reason, from the sequestration, it was subsequently transferred to the state as confiscated. Today, or for several years, this property, this apartment, which is the property of the Albanian state, is used for activities and as a social and cultural center. We are talking after the conviction of Mr. Llalla, who when he was convicted, left Albania and immediately in parallel, sequestration and confiscation were imposed. At the moment the confiscation was imposed, this property was not sold, but passed on, more to give a significant message, passed on for social use. An apartment worth over 100 thousand euros in Durrës”, said the journalist, among other things.
