The Assembly session begins with a CLASH! Shehaj prevents Berisha from speaking

This Monday’s plenary session has been accompanied by political tensions and clashes since its beginning.

Immediately after the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, took the floor in the Parliament, the leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, stood up and began to protest, preventing the democratic leader from continuing his speech.

The situation created moments of tension in the Assembly hall, while Shehaj continued to speak from his seat. In these conditions, the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Klodiana Spahiu, who was chairing the session, drew the attention of the leader of the Opportunity Party to respect the regulations and the normal development of the proceedings.

Debates between deputies continued for several minutes, turning the beginning of the session into an arena of political clashes.
