“Who is like you, my Albania?” Protesters sing patriotic songs in front of parliament during mass march

Thousands of protesters gathered today in the center of Tirana to express their dissatisfaction with the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The rally began in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, where various citizens gave speeches and presented their concerns regarding political, economic, and social issues. Participants called for more transparency, accountability, and solutions to the problems they believe are affecting the country.

After the speeches, protesters marched peacefully through the main streets of Tirana, holding banners and chanting various slogans.

One of the main stops of the march was in front of the Parliament building, where the crowd continued to express its views.

Patriotic songs were heard there, as well as well-known political chants such as “Rama in prison”, “Berisha in prison” and “Rama resign”. The protest took place under the supervision of the security forces and ended without major incidents. The organizers declared that they will continue their actions in the coming days.
