The full dynamics of the tragedy that occurred in the village of Vidishtë, Roskovec, are revealed, an event that ended with three victims.

According to the information provided and the evidence collected, at around 05:00 on Thursday morning, 35-year-old Refit Buzi, also known as Nertil Buzi, entered the Plaka family’s apartment armed with a shotgun. At that moment, the spouses Kosta (Arben) and Belere Plaka were preparing to leave for work.

Immediately after entering the apartment, the perpetrator opened fire on the couple. Kosta Plaka died on the spot, while his wife, Belerie Plaka, was seriously injured. She was urgently transported to the Fier Regional Hospital, where she underwent a surgical intervention that lasted more than five hours, but she did not survive the injuries she received.

After the crime, the 35-year-old forcibly took the 24-year-old woman, with whom he had been in a relationship for nine years, and left the back of the apartment. He then headed towards the village of Kurjan, where after several hours of pursuit by police forces, he released the young woman free and unharmed.

The operation to capture the perpetrator continued for several hours. Despite continuous negotiations with State Police officers, which lasted about seven hours, the 35-year-old refused to surrender and ultimately ended his life by committing suicide.

A story that began years ago as a relationship between two young people ended in the most tragic way, leaving behind three victims and two devastated families.
