A promotional video published a day ago by Prime Minister Edi Rama, presenting the first military vehicle produced in Albania by the company “Timak Defense” headed by Arjeta Puca, has prompted strong reactions and accusations from the opposition for a corrupt scheme.
In the video, Rama praised the delivery of 39 vehicles to the army as “the beginning of an extraordinary story of the rebirth of the military industry,” while entrepreneur Puca described this moment as “the realization of a dream” after her return from Turkey.
DP MP Klevis Balliu says that behind the project is actually a scheme of theft, favoritism and alienation of shares. According to him, “the dream that Arjeta Puca is talking about is a scheme of theft signed by Belinda Balluku, where Ron Yeffet bought 40% of the Timak company for 490 euros.”
