The Director General of the State Police, Skënder Hita, has called an urgent meeting of the leaders of the Security Academy, following the poisoning of 60 students.
It is learned that Hita was at the Academy even at midnight, immediately after the students went to the Infectious Diseases Department of the QSUT for medical assistance, and ordered a full investigation to clarify the circumstances of this event and to hold those responsible legally accountable.
60 security academy students have been admitted to the University Hospital in serious condition and are suspected of having food poisoning.
This is the second case of poisoning, as in May of this year 56 students suffered the same fate.
